CEO

Victor Murray is the company’s founder and CEO. He is a qualified translator and interpreter, and also holds a pilot licence.

Prior to establishing Murray Associates, he had extensive experience in civil and military aviation, helped pioneer the use of information technology in procurement applications, worked as an international affairs and trade analyst before joining Nihon Keizai Shimbun in 1989.

With more than 31 years’ experience in Japan, he has an in-depth understanding of the language and culture in Japan and a wealth of experience in government and business activities in Asia.
